This work continues a reflection on the process of becoming accustomed to the impossible — a condition in which a prolonged crisis gradually embeds itself into everyday life. A domestic object associated with rest and safety becomes a carrier of latent tension. The pillow is densely pierced with nails, creating an image of comfort that simultaneously wounds. The work exposes the paradox of the normalization of pain and the quiet mechanisms through which what is dangerous or unacceptable begins to be perceived as ordinary.

The work emerged as a continuation of reflections that originated in the performative project (un)comfortable.
