Mutely…

Anxiety, hopelessness... The feeling that is swirling when you come to abandoned countryside houses. Broken furniture and scattered things. Insecure silence with a taste of sorrow. Like on the swamp.
Broken windows… The windows, through which the sun shone and people looked at the sky. Now they mutely look on. They are witnesses of the past and soothsayers of a countryside depression. Swamp is a place, where, people say, it is better not to go to.
A street lantern gave light to protect passersby. Now the light leads to the morass… Broken windows' glasses from abandoned houses sparkles as souls of unchristened babies. Now the countryside is only a remnant, a ghost…
